Evidence
Direct records, observations, measurements, source material, and reproducible outputs that support the claim within a stated scope.
DERIVED
Interpretation
Reasoned meaning drawn from the evidence. It may be strong and useful, but it must remain distinguishable from the underlying record.
OPEN
Vision
Possibility, hypothesis, design direction, or future route that has not yet crossed its required evidence and execution gates.
Operating check
Five questions before serious work advances.

Body
Name the thing being assessed
Identify the claim, record, route, system, or decision before analysis begins. A vague body creates a vague result.
Corridor
Choose the dominant route
Seat the work in Governance, Repair, Transfer, Recurrence, or Order/Disorder so the branch has a lawful direction.
Status
State what is presently known
Use a visible state such as OPEN, SELECTED, TETHERED, LOCKED, PARKED, FROZEN, or REJECTED. Status is scoped, not universal.
Gate
Define what must happen next
Record the next proof point, review, boundary, or execution condition required before the work may advance.
Rubicon
Test whether the crossing is worth it
Weigh technical, financial, organizational, safety, and trust costs before committing resources or publishing a conclusion.
Model boundary
Governance improves reliability. It does not manufacture truth.
Golden Atlas and Golden Toolbox help route claims, preserve records, reduce drift, and make uncertainty visible. AI agreement is not proof. A ledger proves custody, order, and preservation of records—not the automatic truth of every claim recorded inside it.
The value of the system is inspectability: people can see what was claimed, what supported it, how it was interpreted, what was corrected, and what remains open.
